cassandra is out today to spend time with her brother who is in town. adrian is covering for her.

cassandra usually does a log for us every evening of packages that we send out during the day and apparently she didn’t do one for yesterday. so i asked adrian if she did and if she did to print it out. i told him “i need to see what i sent out.” we write slips of the contents of the packages and we give a copy of the slip to cassandra and we keep a copy for our records, but we clearly don’t use those for our records b/c we waste cassandra’s time making logs for us to “use” but then we never do b/c we always ask her when we have questions about what we sent out. SO! in short – we don’t use the slips we keep for our records NOR do we use the log that cassandra wastes her time making for us – unless we don’t get one! then I NEED IT!!!

SO! – I asked adrian for the log from yesterday. then he tells me “i have the slips here from yesterday and you didn’t send any packages out yesterday, only papi did.” (papi is my partner in the office.)

so then i said “well i just like to see all the packages that were sent out.” adrian looked at me like i didn’t make any sense. hmmm, i dunno. i don’t understand him at times. does he think i’m stupid??

so adrian was late to work today. apparently he called cassandra (the black receptionist) and told her that he had overslept. well, she didnt tell me so i had no idea and i was wondering where he could be.

when he came in, i said “hi adrian!!” and he goes “hey” in a really pissed off low voice. i asked him how he was and he went “fine.” so then i ask “what’s wrong?” and he goes “nothing i’m just tired.” so of course i told him that i didnt know he was gonna be late, that no one told me. and he didnt say anything. he completely ignored me! wtf!

does he not like me? him and cassandra are getting very close to each other. (boo!) it kinda upsets me. he’s my gay!

oh, oops! my friend stephanie is on the other line. i have to go pick it up so we can trade inside secrets on what spots i’m working on and what spots she’s working on at the agency she works for. shhhh dont tell anyone we’re doing this! it’s against the rules!

so since the last time i wrote you – yesterday (hehe) – i have received a promotion! (PROMO!) I am no longer an assistant copy writer! I am now A COPY WRITER! WOOOOOO! (high fives myself)

so this morning i was introduced to my new assistant – who happened to be an intern for my best friend outside of work (of course, cuz i have no friends at work, i think they’re jealous of me and my cali-girl looks! – boo on them!)

anyway, he’s a very handsome WHITE (like me!!) boy from the south. and he’s gay!! can you believe it?! I get my very own gay!!!! HOLLA! (that’s what he says! i’m starting to copy him on everything he does and says like i used to do to my old boss! – isn’t that funny?!)

anywho! i really like him. his name is adrian. he’s very sweet, but i get a feeling that he finds me a bit annoying at times. like – i tried to high five him this morning and he just looked at me and turned back to his computer. maybe he was just having a bad day. yeah, i think thats it, cuz he’s really sweet and i KNOW he likes me b/c he has to. i’ll make sure of that. i’m so likeable!! YAYAY!

today is the first time i’m writing to you – so hi! (hehe)

my name is pearl and i work for an advertising agency in new york city! – that’s right – the BIG apple! wooooo!!! (claps hands!!) i’m originally from SanFran! – that’s right – i’m a cali girl!!!! YAYAYAY!

i won’t say what it is i do for the agency just yet b/c i dont want anyone to start stalking me! (hehe) but i will say that i’m a very creative person – meaning i’m an assistant copy writer!!! (shhhh don’t tell anyone)

so my purpose of writing to you is to let out all of my thoughts and feelings. during the day, i get so frustrated and so upset b/c of some of the things i witness at my job here at the advertising agency in new york city. i’m hoping this will allow me to get my feelings out so i can feel better.

anywho! i have to stop writing on here right now so i don’t get in trouble – i don’t want ppl to think i’m NOT WORKING!! (oh, my)

maybe i’ll go play some hangman.
